Even if we have a certain idea about Hawaii few of us know important facts about it that define it as a unique location.As a territory of the United States,Hawaii is the widest one so far,being composed of eight important islands,Niihau,Kauai,Oahu,Maui,Molokai,Lanai,Kahoolawe and the biggest one of all,called the Island of Hawaii.The language spoken here more often is English,but people do have a specific alphabet of the Hawaian language,composed of only 5 vowels and 7 consonants.For such a popular place it is surprisingly to find out Hawaii it's the most isolated state on the earth,being at an unusually big distance of the other states that sorrounds it.Few of us know that the Islands of Hawaii have been created by the volcanos under that sea that had constant eruptions.Another interesting fact to mention about this state is that It has its own time zone,different from the Pacific Standard Time and the Eastern Standard Time.With a great touristic potential,Hawaii was the 50th country accepted in the union.But the touristic domain is not the only one developed by the state of Hawaii.Fruits,like pineapples or macadamia nuts are made here,representing a major part of the world's productions.You can't say that you have come to Hawaii only for its beautiful beaches with white sand and clear waters because the most various relief shapes are found here,from the tallest mountain peaks to the most active volcanos in the world,Kilauea Iki.
Every island of Hawaii has a representing flower and colour,the biggest island being the world's most important orchid producer.Honolulu,capital city of Hawaii,situated on the Island of Oahu,is considered the city with the largest borders in the world because every little island that is not claimed by the other bigger seven it's a Honolulu property.This way,its size was enlarged at 1,500 miles long.What makes this territory so special it's the fine weather,defining it as a place where it's never too hot or too cold,just perfect in any time of the year.There is no doubt Hawaii represent the perfect holidays destination for most of us and a wonderful place to visit or settle.
